Congratulations to Lane Bradford, a student at HMS. Lane was chosen for the HMS Student Spotlight Character Trait of the Month for September. Some of the ways that Lane shows courtesy in the classroom is by pushing chairs under the tables for others when they may forget, always smiling, and always being willing to help with any work that may be assigned. Lane is also always polite and mannerable toward his teachers and all of his classmates.

Congratulations to Mrs. Audrey Boyd for being recognized as the HMS Spotlight Teacher of the Month for September. Mrs. Boyd is always positive and polite to her colleagues and students and is always there to lend a hand when it's needed. Thank you, Mrs. Boyd, for your leadership and dedication to our school.

Hawkins Middle School and the Forest Municipal School District would like to recognize Mr. Jerry Wells for being chosen as the HMS Spotlight Staff Member of the Month for September.
