Lady Bearcats Make the All-Tournament Team: Forest Lady Bearcat basketball players Mikayla Holifield, Kelviana Parhm, and Denim Morgan were selected to the MHSAA 3A State All-Tournament Team. The Lady Bearcats were runners-up in the 3A state championship game.


Forest Lady Bearcat star, Kelviana Parhm, recently signed a basketball scholarship to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. FHS Alumni Soccer: Thanks to all the alumni players and former soccer coach, Trey Butts, who came out. It was a beautiful Saturday where both teams played a great game. We were so glad to see so many familiar faces at FHS.



FHS Soccer Alumni Game: Come support the alumni soccer players as they take on the current FHS soccer team. There will be two raffles and delicious food.

HMS Fun Day: On May 6, 2023, HMS will host a "Fun Day" event . This event is to celebrate the students that work hard in after-school and Saturday tutorial sessions. Students will receive points each time they work hard in tutoring sessions. They receive 2 points per day for tutorial sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. They will receive 4 points per day for Saturday tutorial sessions. Students must have 50 points to attend the event.


Forest Bearcats ESPORTS
Hawkins Middle School and Forest High School are starting a new club next year! If anyone would like to donate any Playstation 4 or Nintendo Switch consoles to help kickstart the program, please bring them to Hawkins Middle School.


Congratulations to FES students who met their AR Goals for the 3rd Nine Weeks. These students participated in the FES Library MAKERSPACE Lab and enjoyed building, coding, and creating their own video games.

Congratulations to Lydia Powell for placing third in the Regional Science Fair in the Behavioral and Social Sciences category. Congratulations to Anecia Seals for placing first in the Regional Science Fair in the Organic Chemistry category.
These scholars will represent Hawkins Middle School in the state's science fair competition!
Congratulations to all the Regional Science Fair participants! Each of you have represented Hawkins Middle School with elicit pride and scholarship!
Hawkins Middle School 6th-8th graders participated in its first Science Fair in December 2022. Special thanks goes to the parents/guardians, Ms. Henderson, Ms. Nickson, and Mr. Washington.
