We are so proud of our FES 1st graders who performed in their production of "The Smallest Christmas Tree!" The auditorium was filled, and we are grateful for all of the families and staff who came out to support our students. Feliz Navidad!




'Tis the Season! Congratulations to our Forest High School BETA Club! They were awarded 3rd place for their float in the Forest Christmas Parade. We are so proud of our student leaders and their sponsors for their hard work to make this a success!





This week is the Mississippi School Board Association's School Superintendents Appreciation Week! We are grateful for a superintendent who instills greatness in our school district from the students to faculty and staff. Thank you, Dr. Norwood, for all that you do!


In observance of National Giving Day (11/29), our district-wide canned food drive is set to begin on Thursday, December 1st through Friday, December 16th. Please see the flyer for further details.

FES Fundraiser Pickup


Today, we welcomed our students back from Thanksgiving Break and what a productive day it has been! We're going to give it all we have for the next 17 days to finish Term 2 strong. Term 2 will end on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Parents/Guardians, you will be receiving information from your child's school regarding events and important dates to remember for the month of December. Remember to make sure your child completes all assignments, reads each night, and studies for upcoming exams.


Forest United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ryan McGough and members Mr. Park and Mrs. Park, donates coats to Forest Elementary School. Thanks for the generous donation!

Senior Parents! Forest High School has set up a virtual FAFSA help day November 17, 2022. This event will take place on campus and appointment slots are available through this link: https://ss.ly/9aWjiE. There are 13 slots left (one slot per student). A parent must be present during this appointment time. Please see your students' Class of 2023 Google Classroom portal for required documents.


The P-EBT program is experiencing some delays with the card manufacturing company. Some eligible children still have not received a card.
