The P-EBT program is experiencing some delays with the card manufacturing company. Some eligible children still have not received a card. As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, Forest HS displayed flags of Hispanic countries in the gym before last Friday's pep rally.





Forest United Methodist Church hosted the Blessing of the Bearcats on September 25. Pastor David Slaughter welcomed Bearcats athletes, coaches, parents, and staff for a great day of fellowship.




Larry Patrick was name Regional Homes Player of the Week for the week of

The FMSD department of athletics raffled off a $20 gift certificate to Hibachi Express at the September 12th Forest-Union volleyball match as part of the new "Dinner on the Bearcats" program. The program is designed to increase fan attendance at home ball games. The lucky winner was Angela Roebuck. She is pictured with her daughter, Union volleyball player Lauryn Roebuck.


Members of the Forest Bearcat offensive line were named Farm Bureau Life Insurance Players of the Week for their September 2 performance at Newton. The athletics department has introduced a new program called “Dinner on the Bearcats.” At select home ball games, gift cards from local restaurants will be raffled off. We will raffle off a $20 gift card to Hibachi Express at tonight’s volleyball game. Let’s sell out our gym, and be sure to hold on to your ticket stubs!


Families, we want to make you aware that the Mississippi P-EBT Call Center will close on May 15.
• If you have already reported an issue with your child’s P-EBT card, MDE and MDHS are working to resolve those issues.
• If you have a P-EBT problem that you have not yet reported, please call the P-EBT Call Center before May 15 at 1-833-316-2423.
• The wait time at the Mississippi P-EBT Call Center is currently less than 5 minutes.
You can reach the P-EBT Call Center at 1-833-316-2423 until May 15.
Parents,
If Mississippi is approved to receive more P-EBT benefits to eligible kids, any new P-EBT cards that are issued will be mailed to the address on file at your child’s school. Please make sure your child’s mailing address is correct in our system by May 13, 2022. The Child Nutrition Program for Forest Municipal School District qualifies for USDA Provision II services. This means that all students are eligible to eat free. Meal applications are not necessary to complete at this time. You only need to make sure that your mailing address is correct in our system.
