Happy Hispanic Heritage Month, Forest Elementary!
September 15 – October 15
Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the cultures, traditions,
histories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. It is also a
chance for us to learn about and appreciate the many cultures represented
in our Forest Elementary family.
This Month, Let’s...
• Learn about a new culture or country.
• Discover a Hispanic or Latino leader, artist, athlete, or community
member.
• Learn a new word or phrase in Spanish.
• Ask your family about a tradition that is special to them.
Counselor’s Reminder:
Every family has a story, and every culture has something special to share.
Let’s celebrate our differences, learn from one another, and continue making
Forest Elementary is a welcoming place for everyone!
Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!
