The coolest cat came to visit the Kindergarten and first grade Bearcats on Tuesday, February 13th. Dressed in his customary yellow jacket with the multicolored buttons, Pete the Cat was a hit with the students! The visit was sponsored by The Central Mississippi Regional Library System. Mara Polk, the director of CMRLS, shared a Pete the Cat favorite with “I Love my White Shoes!” Kindergarten and first grade students were encouraged to sing along with the lyrics. Thank you to the branch manager of the Forest Public Library, Mrs. Dianne McLaurin, for setting up the visit from the famous book character.
El gato más genial vino a visitar a Bearcats de jardín de infantes y primer grado el martes 13 de febrero. Vestido con su habitual chaqueta amarilla con botones multicolores, Pete the Cat fue un éxito entre los estudiantes. La visita fue patrocinada por el Sistema de Bibliotecas Regionales de Mississippi Central. Mara Polk, la directora de CMRLS, compartió una de las canciones favoritas de Pete the Cat con "I Love my White Shoes!"
